I absolutely, positively, loved Tiger’s Curse, the first book to the series, so I knew without a doubt that I’d be picking up the second one. Little did I know that I’d be ordering the third less than an hour after I finished that one. Tiger’s Quest is an addictive, unexpected thrill ride that will leave you craving more!

I liked the main character, Kelsey, a lot more in this book than I did in the last, but I’m still not entirely satisfied with her. I know that she still has a long way to go, both emotionally and with this physical challenge of the quest. I’m hoping she’ll get more and more likeable as the series progresses. Fingers crossed! I loved Ren, of course, and I loved Kishan more than in Tiger’s Curse.  He’s featured more in this novel as he tries to come to terms with himself, his feelings, and the past; things he’s been avoiding for centuries.

I really loved the settings in this book, yet again. From the various places in Oregon (buildings I won’t mention for fear of spoiling), to their traveling through India, to the quest itself . . . Gorgeous! I could picture it all in my mind and it was as lovely as it was described.

For how much I love this book . . . I still have the same problem with it that came up during Tiger’s Curse. The dialogue. Some of it was amazing and perfect and then sometimes it just seemed stilted and awkward. Conversational tones were needed whereas they were given paragraphs of information to spit out in ways that didn’t fit their character or the situation. It was awkward at some points and distracted me from the book. I still love it full-heartedly, love the plot, but I just wish this could have been tweaked a little. Here’s hoping this will also improve!

I recommend this for people who like adventure, Indian culture, suspense, romance, curses, mythology, quests, and wonderful books!
