I just reread this book to remember everything about the series so I can start book two! I loved The Darkest Minds the second time around just as much as the first. Highly recommend!

  1. Kayla,

I just discovered your site! I am always looking for reviews of good books so I hope to be a frequent visitor.

“The Darkest Minds” sounds a little like the Eve series by Anna Carey and the Born series by Tara Brown. I love dystopian and urban fantasy and the fact that you’ve read it twice and are raving about the CHARACTERS tells me it must be a good read. It doesn’t matter how great the plot of a book is, I need to love the characters. (I’m sure you can relate.) Otherwise, all through the book I am thinking: “Don’t do that!” or “Ugh, you’re so stupid!”, etc. It can be distracting!

Anyway, thanks to your review, I am going to add this book to my “to-be-read’ on Goodreads.

    Happy Reading!

I read, love, and respond to each and every one of your comments! Thank you for reading!
