What are you Reading Monday 10-11-10

Yesturday was 10-10-10! Hope you all had a great day! And today is Columbus Day, so I have a day off of school. Yet still have tennis practice. What is this madness? Anyway. This week I read:

The Atlantis Complex-Eoin Colfer

The Knife of Never Letting Go-Patrick Ness

And this week, so many great books are coming out! The first book of the new Camp Half-Blood series is released, Beautiful Darkness, The Scorch Trials. If only I had the money to buy all of them! Sadly, I’ll probably have to settle with one, and hope the library gets the rest!

This week I read:

Fade-Lisa McMann
Extras-Scott Westerfeld

My favorite would have to be Fade. The series is so original, every book is a quick read, and I love the characters!

So. This week I managed to pass all of my tests, get a 6-4 record with my tennis team, watch Easy A [which is an AMAZING movie by the way, that you all should plan to see, because Emma Stone is amazing], rent Catching Fire from the school library [I’ve been DYING to read it, yet too lazy to put out the movie for a hardcover, but of course now it’s in paperback so I really have no excuse and . . . Yeah.], and go to my high school’s first home football game, which we won. Go Eagles! I haven’t been to a game since Freshman year.

Anyway, that long summary is my week. How was your week?

I also have a quick question, if anyone cares to answer it. I was considering starting the In My Mailbox meme, where you take a picture of all the books you’ve rented/bought/recieved for the week and post it on your blog. Would you be interested in seeing something like that? It probably won’t be every week, maybe every other.

What are You Reading Monday 8-28-10

This week, I read:

The Wedding Gift

My favorite would have to be Glimpse. I just might have to try out more verse books because of this.

So, this week has been very busy and slightly depressing, because next is the last full week I’ve got before I go back to school. While I’m excited to see my friends, I’m just hoping they’re actually in my classes. Fingers crossed.

On a bright note, I made varsity on my tennis team, if you wish to know. 🙂

What are You Reading Monday 8-23-10

This week, I read:

The Picture of Dorian Gray-Oscar Wilde
The Thyssen Affair-Mozelle Richardson
Avalon High-Meg Cabot

My favorite would have to be Avalon High, not just because it was the least serious of the three but I couldn’t put it down the entire time I was reading it.

Tennis practice started this week, and school is looming in the not-so-distant future. Hopefully, I’ll still have plenty of time to read, but I can never tell.

What are You Reading Monday 8-9-10

Ha! I just realized today is 8, 9, 10!  . . .

Anyway. Now that that’s covered. This week I read:

Simon’s Choice-Charlotte Castle
Heist Society-Ally Carter
Prada and Prejudice-Mandy Hubbard
Jane Erye-Charlotte Bronte

What are You Reading Monday 7-19

This week, I read:
Don’t Judge a Girl by Her Cover-Ally Carter
Princess Ben-Catherine Gilbert Murdock

I loved Don’t Judge a Girl by Her Cover! The Gallagher Girls series is amazing, and I can’t wait to get my hands on the fourth installment!

What are you Reading Monday 7-12

This week, I read:

The Maze Runner-James Dashner
Suzanne’s Diary for Nicholas-James Patterson
Size 12 is Not Fat-Meg Cabot

If I had to chose a favorite, it would probably be Size 12 is Not Fat. It made me laugh, something I needed this week. It was exhausting! A heat wave rolled though, and 3 hours of tennis in that sun is no fun.
